After only having 3 hours sleep I struggled to get up but one look out the window I knew it would be blowing. Packed the car and blasted to the coast. Met Steve rigging up and just one look and I thought 5.0. Excellent!!!! It has been such a long time since I have been in such conditions. It did show and I soon realised how unfit I was. Had some great jumps on the way out and managed to ride the smaller stuff on the way in. Some waves were rather large and I witnessed Al get an almighty rinsing. Soon it became my turn to get caught in the walls of white water and as such managed to tear and hole in my sail.

No problem as I just riggged my 4.5 which proved rather more comfortable in the gusts but by that time the lulls were not as strong so I did struggle and needed some more power to get through the white water. Although I ache all over I am still smiling. Please sir may I have some more!
